Important: TrainsTracking provides train schedule information only. We do not sell tickets. Always verify journeys with the official railway operator before travelling.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TrainsTracking (trainstracking.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses the service.
2. Description of Service
TrainsTracking is a train information platform that aggregates and presents train schedule data, live tracking information, fare estimates, station data, and route information for trains across 76+ countries. TrainsTracking does not sell train tickets. All booking links direct users to official railway operators and third-party booking platforms. We are not a travel agent.
3. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to ensure the accuracy of all schedule and fare information on TrainsTracking, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy at all times. Train schedules are subject to change by operators without notice. Fares shown are indicative — actual prices may differ when booking. You should always verify critical journey information with the official railway operator before travelling. TrainsTracking accepts no liability for losses arising from inaccurate or out-of-date schedule information.
4. Intellectual Property
The TrainsTracking name, logo, website design, and original written content are the property of TrainsTracking Ltd and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Train schedule and timetable data is sourced from public APIs, official operator publications, or is otherwise in the public domain. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute TrainsTracking's original content without written permission.
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to: use the service for any unlawful purpose; scrape, crawl, or extract data systematically without written authorisation; attempt to access our systems without authorisation; impersonate TrainsTracking or any official railway operator; submit false, misleading, or defamatory content via our contact forms; use the service in a manner that overloads our infrastructure. Violations may result in IP blocking and legal action.
6. API Access
Our public data endpoints (/api/live/realtime, /api/live/departures) are provided for informational purposes and personal use only. Commercial use of our API endpoints, or use in third-party products without written authorisation, is prohibited. We reserve the right to rate-limit, restrict, or discontinue API access at any time.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
TrainsTracking is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate. We make no representations about the suitability of the information for any purpose. Use of the service is entirely at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrainsTracking Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed trains, incorrect fares, or disrupted travel plans. Our total liability in any circumstances shall not exceed £50 GBP.
9. Third-Party Links
TrainsTracking contains links to third-party booking sites and operator websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of those sites. Your use of linked third-party sites is governed by those sites' own terms and policies.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of TrainsTracking after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your use of TrainsTracking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
